Auto Enrolment is the process of the employer having to enrol all staff over the age of 22 automatically into the company’s pension scheme.

This is a law that came in place in 2008, however, there have been changes ever since. Starting from the tax year 2018/2019, the contribution levels of the wages have gone up.

Previously, the employer contribution and the contribution of the employee were both set at 1 percent. This has gone up on both sides.
